Q&A with Ava – Hi Ava, I’m a new listener in California, and a new CCW Permit holder. Just wanted to ask for your recommendations for holsters. My CCW instructor recommended leggings with a built in holster from GlockStore but I can’t jog without my pants sagging from the weight of my pistol(s). My current wardrobe doesn’t allow for belts so IWB isn’t practical, do you have experience with any waist band holsters or belly band holsters you would recommend? Thank you!!
- A lot of belly bands tend to ride up and move around when running as well as print in running clothes. Plus, they get really gross after only a few hard runs.
- A friend of mine is a runner and uses a fanny pack from Elite Survival Systems called the Marathon Gun Pack. You can find them on Amazon and it fits a G42, Hellcat, or P365 and includes a spot for a phone and also has two small water bottles. It doesn’t sag at all and he runs every day with it.
- The flashbang holster is also a good choice. They’re made to fit sports bras when you use the longer strap.
